Paul and Carol Shaw own a dairy farm at Kaharoa on the hills above Rotorua, on the Tauranga Direct Road. They are in the Top 5% of New Zealand’s milk producers.
Graham and Joy Dorn milk approximately 200 cows on their property, just south of Opunake, on Taranaki's West Coast. The area is notoriously windy so the climatic conditions can easily be described as challenging.
